About
ABOUT LINCOLN TRAINING CENTER
Lincoln Training Center (LTC) is a not-for-profit, 501c (3) organization based in South El Monte. Since 1964, LTC has progressed from a small group of parents teaching their sons and daughters simple production work to an accredited, award-winning organization helping hundreds of adults with disabilities and service disabled veterans throughout California find meaningful work.
Today, LTC continues its mission to provide work opportunities and job training through an array of job programs. In our base program, workers perform assembly, disassembly and light manufacturing contracts, which are fulfilled at our 32,000 square foot facility.
All workers are paid according to their participation and productivity. LTC provides vacation pay, bonuses, workers comp benefits, social activities, work preparedness, and transitional training.

Our Supported Employment program places eager and qualified workers into community job settings. We are currently contracting with more than 100 off-site employers for jobs that include janitorial, landscaping, inventory control, packaging, retail, and clerical.
Lincoln now has satellite offices in Northern, Central and Southern California. Lincoln is proud to have been awarded a CIMS (Cleaning Industry Management Standards) certification. This is a high achievement that attests to our commitment to quality. We also have a State of California Contractors license with a C27 landscaping designation.
LTC also offers training and job placement for service disabled veterans.
In 2021 LTC was awarded the highest accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
Mission Statement
Lincoln Training Center turns disabilities and disadvantages into possibilities through employment, independence, and community participation.
History of LTC
Lincoln Training Center was founded in 1964 by a group of parents for the purpose of providing meaningful employment for adults with disabilities. Operating out of a borrowed facility with a small work force of individuals with disabilities, the founding parents took in their first paid contract—rolling newsprint for a local company. This contract resulted in the primary funding for the Center.
Today, Lincoln Training Center is headquartered in a 32,000 square-foot facility in South El Monte providing support to more than 500 adults with disabilities. Offsite, the Supported Employment program places workers into community job settings. Currently, more than 100 offsite companies employee workers from Lincoln Training Center for jobs that include janitorial, landscaping, inventory control, packaging, retail and clerical work.
In 2001, Lincoln Training Center opened a satellite office in Roseville to provide employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities in Northern California, and soon after satellite offices were opened in Fresno, Carlsbad, Apple Valley, and Stockton.
